So I am sick of the way life has been going. I never have enough money. I can't afford school let alone afford to have fun. Every feel like this?

I am trying to solve my problem. Not only am I going to try and earn some extra spending cash, I am also going to cut down on my gaming time. I have been being really counter productive in my life because of my video game addiction. I am going to turn my love for gaming into something productive.

So I I just started this web site http://www.infernolikaboss.com/wordpress/ and am loving the way I spend my time now. I am building this website to help new Diablo 3 players get used to the harder difficulties of the game.

I remember sitting down on my computer after a long days work. I am finally 60 and can run inferno on my Wizard. I am so excited, until i run into my first rare spawn. I started getting owned so much that the game was stressfull. I am trying to give newer players a resorce they can use to help them along with there experience in inferno.

The hours I have spent learning and grinding on the game has transformed into an awesome resource for fellow gamers. I am also using it as a test run building a site and generating traffic to it. I am in this to try and earn a little however, not earning a dime will still net me the reward of the experience.

Life is looking up and I am feeling good. You should too! :-)

Assignment 27 An informal survey of students views of PowerPoint

There was a tweet on the Larry Press twitter feed the caught my eye. It was about a serve done by students that attend the University of Pittsburgh about there opinions on PowerPoint. I somewhat agree with the majority in response to some of the questions asked.

160 students were asked to respond to 12 questions about PowerPoint and its uses in the classroom. They could respond to the questions with disagree strongly, disagree somewhat, neutral, agree somewhat or agree strongly. Most students agreed at least somewhat to things like PowerPoint holds their attention or that the visual images in the presentation lecture helps them recall content during exams. They disagree to things like prefer to use a black or whiteboard over PowerPoint.

PowerPoint is a great tool to help teach and is wonderful that it is implemented in schools today. Students and professors alike agree that PowerPoint is a wonderful application to assist in lectures.

I chose this tweet because it had statistics in it that I was actually interested to know about. I found it interesting because My generation is one of the firsts to be taught using PowerPoint throughout my schooling.
